House cleaning FAQ

Sunday Best publishes flat prices. On a typical 3 bed / 2 bath home (about 1,800 to 2,100 sq ft): first standard clean $185; recurring $149 weekly, $165 every two weeks, $185 monthly; deep clean $355; move-in or move-out clean $385. Smaller and larger homes are on our pricing table. Founding members can prepay 4 cleans for $640.

No. Texas does not list residential house cleaning as a taxable service (it taxes janitorial work on nonresidential property), so we do not add tax to residential cleaning. Some local companies quote '+8.25% tax'; our price is the full price.

We are booking now in Katy (77494, 77450, 77493, 77449), Cinco Ranch, Fulshear (77441) and Richmond (77406, 77407). Cypress, West Houston and the Energy Corridor, and north Sugar Land open next, then Memorial, Rosenberg and the rest of Sugar Land. Outside those areas, ask anyway and we will tell you honestly.

No. You can leave a door code, lockbox or key. You will get a confirmed arrival window by text, and we text when we finish.

Inside the fridge, oven, cabinets and dishwasher, interior windows, blinds, and hand-wiped baseboards are not part of a standard clean. Each is a listed add-on (for example inside the fridge $35, interior windows $45), or included in a deep or move-out clean as described on each service page.

Tell us within 24 hours with a photo if you can. If something on the checklist was missed, we come back and re-clean that area free.

By card through a secure online link. Single cleans are paid per visit; the founding-member package (4 cleans for $640) is paid up front.

Yes. Tell us about your pets when you book. Homes with shedding pets have a $20 pet fee because the extra hair takes extra time.

Yes. Sunday Best Cleaning Co. is a new residential cleaning company based in Katy, TX (77494), launched October 1, 2026. We are building it in public, including the real numbers, so you can see exactly how a new local cleaning company is run.

Not right now. We clean homes only.

Kitchen counters, sink, stovetop and the outside of appliances; bathrooms including toilets, tubs, showers, glass and mirrors; dusting of every reachable surface; vacuuming and mopping all floors; beds made; trash emptied. Inside appliances, inside cabinets, interior windows and blinds are add-ons, listed with prices on our pricing page.

It depends on the size and condition of the home. For a typical 3 bed / 2 bath home in reasonable shape, plan on a few hours. We give you an arrival window, not a stopwatch: the visit ends when the checklist is done.

Yes. We bring cleaning products and equipment. If you prefer we use specific products in your home, leave them out and let us know when you book.

No. Recurring service is pay-as-you-go with no long-term contract. The separate founding-member package (4 cleans for $640) is paid up front, and that is clearly marked when you choose it.

That is the goal, and we plan routes around it. If your regular cleaner is sick or away, we will tell you ahead of time and send someone working from the same checklist.

Add it when we confirm the visit: inside the fridge ($35), inside the oven ($35), interior windows ($45), sheets changed ($15) and other add-ons are priced on our pricing page.

Not by default. Inside the fridge and inside the oven are $35 add-ons each, and inside cabinets is $45. Keeping them optional is how we keep the base deep-clean price fair. Move-out cleans of empty homes include them.

Longer than a standard clean, usually most of a day for a 3 bed / 2 bath home depending on condition. We confirm an arrival window by text and finish when the checklist is complete.

Only if your home needs it. If it has been more than a month or two since a professional clean, a deep clean first means your recurring visits keep it there instead of catching up.

Yes, it is the same empty-home checklist and the same price. Move-in cleans are popular for new construction and resale homes before furniture arrives.

Yes. We can coordinate access with a lockbox or agent and send the completion photos to whoever needs them.

Tell us your move date when you request a quote. We confirm the earliest available day by text. Booking a few days ahead gives you the most choice.

No. Book a single clean and decide after. If you like the result, switching to recurring visits is one text away.

Of course. You are welcome to show us around on the first visit, then leave a door code for future visits.
